Mickey Mouse first starred as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in the 1940 Disney film, Fantasia.
Mr. Toad sports his own sorcerer's cap on a Disney pin and a trading card.
Mr. Toad Sorcerer Pin
Walt Disney Imagineering introduced a series of pins called Character Sorcerer in which Disney characters wear the sorcerer's cap from Fantasia. The May 9, 2011, release features our favorite Mr. Toad in a sorcerer's cap, sure to cause some mischief. It is a limited edition of 250. The original price was $9.95. (Expect to pay about $16 including shipping on eBay as of May 2012.)

Mr. Toad Sorcerer Trading Card
Early in 2012, the Magic Kingdom (Disney World in Florida) introduced an interactive game guests play at the park. The goal is to conquer Hades' evil plot to take over the Magic Kingdom. Guests hold trading cards created by Merlin up to special readers. The spells associated with the cards help the guest accomplish the mission to thwart the evil plan.
Here's a video (sort of long) that explains the game. You'll get the hang of it in the first couple minutes of the video:
The 50th card in the Disney Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom series is Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. It is a hero spell card that shows Mr. Toad on a glorious adventure in his motorcar. He has just crashed through a fence. The background pictures many steering wheels. The caption at the bottom says, "Bouding round at blazing speed, Now that's a wild ride indeed."
As of May 2012, the going price on eBay with shipping is about $4.
